What is expected from a mentor?
Once you are matched with a mentee, either you can initiate the conversation or you can let the mentee initiate it. As a mentor you will answer mentee’s questions about career and enlighten the mentee about the field of your expertise or direct them to other resources as appropriate. You will also help mentees grow their professional network, and help in making the career decisions. You can take more than one mentee. If you decide to end the mentoring relationship with any mentee, please let the mentee know as a courtesy, and also update under your profile on Mentor Yuva website. Currently, we are actively recruiting mentors. As soon as our mentor recruitment drive is completed you will be paired with a mentee and will be informed.
